Vehicle Access Assistance, On-Site

Keys shut in the car happens to everybody — in a driveway, a work lot, a parking deck. When we are coming out to work on the vehicle anyway, we can get it open for you without drilling, prying or breaking glass, using proper long-reach tooling on the door rather than force.

This is offered as part of our automotive repair work, not as a standalone service. North Carolina specifically exempts an automotive repair business from locksmith licensing when it opens a vehicle in order to perform service on that vehicle, and that is exactly how we operate — access assistance is tied to a repair or service visit. We are not a licensed locksmith, we do not cut or originate keys, and we do not open homes, businesses or anything other than a vehicle we are servicing. If a lockout is all you need, a licensed locksmith is the correct call and we will tell you so.

  • Flat $130 access assistance fee, quoted before we touch the vehicle
  • Non-destructive entry — no drilling, no prying, no broken glass
  • Performed as part of a repair or service visit on the same vehicle
  • Not a licensed locksmith: no key cutting, no homes, no businesses
